Frame Styles

Seating Innovation’s Snack Bars, Tables, and Desks each have unique frame styles. We build to standard heights which include desk and table heights of 30 inches to snack bar heights of 36 inches. Contact us with unusual sizing dimensions for custom built frames.

Standard and retrofit frames require building a foot step to cover the portion of the frame resting on the ground.  Inverted frames require adding foot rail to the cabinet back.  Retrofit frame style options are used for existing kitchen cabinetry and requires building a foot step to cover the frame portion that rests on the floor.

Exposing the frame in front of the cabinet’s finish panel works well on retrofit applications where existing cabinets are being used. Retrofit mounting requires a footrest to be built to cover the the cantilever foot.  Depending on the counter height, footrail can be added above the footrest. Click here for photos.

The standard mounting requires 3 1/2 to 4” of dead space between the cabinet box and finish panel.  The cantilever frames can also be placed in the dead space between angled cabinet boxes.  Standard mounting requires a footrest to be built to cover the the cantilever foot.  Depending on the counter height, footrail can be added above the footrest. Click here for photos.
